About Me

Welcome to the web site. This has appeared out of covid and the pandemic, it has a purpose, not just vanity on my part, but it hopes to raise a profile and possibly funds for Clean Rivers Trust. Anything sold will allow more work to be carried out to prevent river pollution or find methods that will remediate waters already damaged. The need for funding is because much funding from other sources has dried up due to Corona Virus and this is one way to, I can attempt to rectify the shortfall. 


It is not a sales platform, it aims to educate, inform, support, sustain. It has history, it might intest or even amuser.


I hope that you will enjoy what you see and find the content stimulating and not just a shop window. I have worked as an artist for more than 40 odd years and have been involved with environment issues for longer. 


There are records of places that have meaning both to myself and the work we carry out at Clean Rivers Trust, places both in the UK and around the globe.  


There are pieces of work that are only thoughts, these are starting points and not finalised. They may not go anywhere. Like all research there are dead ends.


Most of this site will be visual, new images, paintings and drawings will appear regularly. Occasional written additions may occur but those are more likely to be found at www.cleanriverstrust.co.ukwhich, I hope, you will also visit.
